It would certainly reduce language-generated hostility.
I'm always amazed by people that swear as a regular part of their speech patterns and don't know or care who might be around. It's very unbecoming.
Seems like the cussers are always angry about something.
Some people are so not house trained that they don't recognize a profane word when they use it.
