ReplyDeleteWhich is technically true: The whiting fish is caught in the Pacific (and whiting are not farm-produced, so all whiting are "wild") then converted into fake crab (or "krab"), an imitation of actual crab because the bland flavor of whiting is similar to crab, and the texture of whiting can match crab. Add a little red food dye coloring to the crab leg shaped chunks to mimic the look of cooked crab legs, and we have produced the legally accurately described product "wild caught imitation crab."
