I have some work I need to get done before I head out to my doctor's appointment this morning, so I thought I'd just scrape the top of the Blog Fodder file and offer you this public service post.
We're all tired of thinking about the economic disaster that our elected "leaders" are shoving us toward (who knows if I'll have a job after the first of January?), so let's think about something happy. Let's think about kissing.
This video - How to Kiss Nice and Long - may be helpful for those of you who have been on the dating shelf for a while, or who are just looking for a few helpful pointers on a pleasant activity. You will learn three key things:
1. Don't forget to to breathe; and,
2. Brace yourself such that "when you need to stop and breathe, [you can] just pull away;" and,
3. Don't exhale into the other person's mouth -- not firstly because it's very weird, but because of the dangers of carbon dioxide.
Don't you wish you'd have known all that during those first tentative kisses back in high school?
Don't thank me ... it's all part of the service. Enjoy!
Have a good day and a great weekend. Come back tomorrow for Cartoon Saturday.

But there is so much more to it! Like not letting your mouth get so soft and mushy that you slobber them. And not getting too slobbery in the first place. And putting your hands in the right place. Oh if only you had been in the tenth grade when we were juniors. You might have been one of the ones we taught! One guy married a gal who also attended NA. Every year for probably 20 years, she sent me their Christmas card and always had a little note in it thanking me. ;-) Just a public service to the girls of the lower grades, raising the quality standards for kissing among the boys of the class of 1970!!!
ReplyDeleteGeez, Marilyn ... why didn't you tell me all this 45 years ago! AAUUGGHH!!
