Cartoon Saturday

As if we had hoped the new month might be better than the old ...

In a national address, President Biden called for a list of reforms to the nation's gun laws, few of which are likely ever to be passed over the objections of gun-besotted weapon addicts in Congress; speaking of guns, a man angry at the treatment he received from his doctor murdered four people at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma; celebrations honoring the Platinum Jubilee of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II continued in England and around the British Commonwealth; 14-year-old Harini Logan won the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday by correctly spelling "moorhen;" and in California, a woman who bought an old couch on Craigslist found $36,000 hidden in the cushions ... which she returned to the original owner of the sofa.

This week, since "originalism" seems to be the in thing, I thought a collection of cartoons about the original originalists - cave dwellers - might be appropriate ...

Regardless of the age, you can dress with style ...

The problems of being a cave artist ...

I don't ...

Good art sends a message ...

Club control ...

At the Stone Age deli ...

I'll bet I know what his modification is ...

Coming out in the Stone Age ...

Well, who's to say it didn't happen that way? ...

Well, if it works ...

Have a good day and a great weekend. Come back tomorrow for the first Musical Sunday of the new month ... more thoughts then.

  1. I've got some cargo shorts and never use the extra pockets. But they are made of thicker material and hold up to working around the house better.
