Cartoon Saturday

The Boston Massacre, one of the precipitating actions of the Revolutionary War, in which five persons were killed and three injured by British soldiers, took place on this date in 1770; after a huge manhunt, police in Connecticut believe they have caught the so-called "East Coast Rapist," responsible for assaulting 17 women in four states between 1997 and 2009; violence and chaos continue in Libya as rebels seek to oust bizarre strongman Moammar (insert preferred spelling here); two children found dead in a canal in Florida may be related to a woman found dead in a Florida landfill seven months ago; and political campaigns are making increasingly frequent and creative use of the Internet to play innovative dirty campaign tricks once limited to television, print, and radio.

In a crazy world, the one thing you can always depend on is Cartoon Saturday.
