Musical Sunday


Last Friday we celebrated the birthday of actor, singer, and comedian Andy Griffith, perhaps best remembered for his television portrayal of folksy sheriff Andy Taylor on television. Griffith was also a gifted comic storyteller, and one of his best-known (at least, to my generation) routines was "What It Was Was Football," the story of a country bumpkin looking for a tent revival who ends up witnessing his first football game. Here you go ...
