Poetry Sunday

A poem doesn't have to be particularly long or have an intricate rhyme pattern to be interesting and enjoyable, as in this bitingly witty little poem by Alexander Pope ... the title of which is almost as long as the poem itself:

Epigram Engraved On The Collar Of A Dog
Which I Gave To His Royal Highness

I am his Highness' dog at Kew;
Pray tell me, sir, whose dog are you?

Whose, indeed?

Have a good day, and enjoy the rest of your weekend. Monday will be here soon enough, but Musical Monday will help ease you into it. See you tomorrow morning.

More thoughts then.

P.S. - Did you remember to set your clocks ahead an hour last night?

A nice, to the point poem.

I set my clock forward; but we had an outage.

Well, going on DST gives more time for barbecuing.
