Anything sound good?
This is actually a timely topic, because I just had an e-mail from fellow blogger, wit, and borderline curmudgeon Gilahi, reminding me that we haven't met for after-work drinks for a while. No wonder the world is in such a miserable state if we aren't getting together regularly to solve its problems. We'll take care of that soon, and I'll let you know how it works out.
Autumn is here in Northern Virginia: it's cold, rainy, and generally miserable. But fear not! We are going to have my all-time-favorite fall and winter (or any other time, for that matter) dinner this evening: corned beef and cabbage. Five wonderful grandchildren, a beautiful wife, dancing, good friends, and corned beef and cabbage - life is, indeed, good.
Have a good day. Enjoy those cocktails in moderation.
More thoughts tomorrow.

Aah, the hazards of growing up Italian is they teach their young to drink.
Have a wonderful evening with family.
A few Sundae Drivers today sounds good.
The vilest drink I ever experienced was Old Granddad and Kool-Aid.
