It's been a long, long month, but we've finally reached the last Cartoon Saturday for May ... this week starting out with a selection of cartoons about cars and driving ...
Plenty of people in this area must have gone to this particular driving school ...
But it gets great mileage, as measured in miles per bale ...
Lots of these permits here in NoVa ...
The next level of environmentally friendly electric automobile ...
Yes, this is exactly how it works ...
That's how we divide the labor here at home ...
Moving on to other subjects, sometimes you have things that are just fundamentally wrong ...
Cliches, updated ...
Perhaps this is the best I can hope for ...
Well, I guess that explains why all the cave paintings are of animals ...
So long, May! Have a good day, and come back tomorrow for Poetry Sunday. More thoughts then.

Those were great cartoons! Hope your trip is going well.
I guess I'll have to learn to play the accordion!
Hope things are going well for you and Agnes on your trip to Europe!
Loved the cartoons, and can relate to many of them. Saw a picture on the news last night of traffic stopped in San Antonio because of a flooded highway....5 lanes of traffic at a dead stop and probably no way to turn around. What a night mare...might just honk the horn!
Somebody must be giving away jerk parking permits around here.
We got jerk parking here in Knoxville, same as Florence. And the aggressive drivers take I40.
I drive up to 1000 miles a month for work. Believe me, there are plenty of bad drivers out there. I think George Carlin said it best:
"Ever notice that jerks drive faster then you and idiots drive slower?"
