Great Moments in Editing

Welcome to the first edition of Great Moments in Editing for March. Roll on ...

If you're going to legally change your name, go big or go home ...

Make sure that dog is mechanically sound before you bring him home from the pound ...

GOP-style big sale ...

Actually, you should get someone else to call the doctor for you ...

All problems are simpler when you take the low-hanging fruit approach ...

It also leads to disappointment and less chance of a second date ...

A particularly unfortunate juxtaposition of headline and photo ...

They must be pretty good-sized canaries ...

Oops ...

And finally for today, it's not really an editorial gem, but it's an absolute classic in its own right ...

Have a good day, and be sure to come back tomorrow for the first Cartoon Saturday in March. You need the laughs, especially given the list of presidential wannabes. More thoughts then.

The first one was Awesome! As for the science project, 90% of the work will be done by Mom.

I promise not to whine at work. Or win, either. Unless I work in a nap.

I loved the budget cuts. We can't laugh too much, you never know what the government will come up with!

If the budget cut people come around here I'm going to hide in the basement.

Actually "James R. Awesome" is grammatically incorrect as James is singular. Just sayin'.

Early release reinforces the idea of school as prison. Accuracy is strong in some places.

That last one is a classic. Great edition!

While I agree with KathyA, he may think of James as the plural of Jame...

Wish I would have used the last one with my kids...
