Great Moments in Editing and Signage

It's time for our first collection of editorial and signage ya-ha's for October! Let 'em rip ...

Um ... I think I'll try a different market, thank you ...

Oops ... wrong tower ...

Thanks for the warning ...

It must be one of those MAGA "Christian" churches ...

I shamelessly stole this one from Debra She Who Seeks. I'm sure there's a story here, but I'm not sure I want to know what it is ...

I thought this was the hours of operation for Congress. It's an understandable mistake ...

It also helps to take the pants off ...

Perhaps they get a lot of applicants from Georgia ...

I think this may be one of the most unnecessary signs ever ...

That must be chain suitable for an aircraft carrier ...

And that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed the collection, and remember - you can always send your finds to ol' Bilbo ... I'll give you credit when they post!

Have a good day, and be sure to come back tomorrow, when our Cartoon Saturday Halloween Spectacular continues with a salute to The Headless Horseman - see you then.

Great Moments in Editing and Signage

Welcome to the last collection of Great Moments in Editing and Signage for this month!

If cows belong to a gang, will ICE round them up and deport them? ...

Speaking of cows, if you don't want a brand new one, you may be able to get a deal here ...

Does this mean you need to have no breath to use the services, or that the services are so expensive as to leave you breathless? ...

From a cemetery in Germany: "Each person is required to maintain his gravesite and keep the surrounding area in good order." Must be tough for the occupant.

I only wear collard shirts to visit salad bars ...

I hope she got her money back ...

I'll bet every experienced EMT has a story like this ...

Well, it will surely save a lot of money at the current gas prices ...

I'm not sure that's as good an advertising point as they think ...

Somewhere there's a lawyer telling his friends at the local bar about his favorite case ...

And that's it for September - Great Moments in Editing and Signage will return in two weeks with the first collection for October. While you're waiting, be sure to come back tomorrow for the last Cartoon Saturday of the month ... see you then with a potpourri collection of funnies and more thoughts.

Great Moments in Editing and Signage

Here we go with the last collection of editorial and signage ya-ha's for the month of August. Get 'em while they're hot. Or you're hot. Whatever ...

No matter which 44 magnum you need, they've got you covered ...

I've never had head in my car, period, much less extreme head ..

If the animals can't eat it, what's the point?

You have to think someone could have foreseen this result ...

I prefer the dead sausage, myself ...

I'm not sure this is as big a draw as he hopes ...

I've eaten at places like this ...

So, when do you get the $2.00 off?

I wonder what happened to Wife #1 ... the "installation of top soil" might be a hint ...

Hmmm ...

And that's it for this week's edition of Great Moments in Editing and Signage ... the last one for this month. I hope you enjoyed it. And don't forget to send the great moments you find to ol' Bilbo for future use!

Have a good day and come back tomorrow for a Cartoon Saturday salute to the start of the new school year. More thoughts then.

Great Moments in Editing and Signage

Hello, and welcome to the latest collection of editorial and signage ya-has ...

I think that the person who planned this sale moonlights for Der Furor's economic policy staff ...

The climate change crisis is worse than I thought ...

That's a relief ...

Mike sent me this monument to the importance of kerning ...

I wonder if they moonlight as advisors on Der Furor's Iran war strategy ...

I think I know where I'm going for my next snack ...

Umm ... just what do they expect to be dropped off?

Those deer really need to pay more attention to their parking ...

Right ...

That must have been one stressful job ...

And that's it for this week's collection of editorial and signage mishaps - I hope you enjoyed them.

Have a good day and come back tomorrow, when Cartoon Saturday discusses whether the end is, in fact, near. More thoughts then.

Great Moments in Editing and Signage

Well, we've come to the end of another meshugge month, and good riddance to it. Let's see it off with something entertaining - the latest batch of editorial and signage gems ...

When you need to document maintenance on the high-thrust hemorrhoids on your Minuteman III ...

I don't know about you, but I have plenty of free natural rocks in my garden every year ...

It's a shame that some business had to put up this sign ...

... and that another business had to go the same route ...

I'd think that unless you were driving a tank, you'd probably park in empty spots without needing the warning ...

Wait, what?? ...

Schrödinger's Intersection ...

There's an old joke about a farmer who raised three-legged chickens but didn't know how to cook them because he'd never been able to catch one ... looks like he was finally successful ...

I don't know about you, but I've never been to a toilet competition ... I hope the results don't leak ...

Um ... I think I'll pass ...

And that's it for Great Moments in Editing and Signage for July ... it'll be back again in two weeks with the first offerings for August. In the meantime, come back tomorrow, when we kick off a new month with more thoughts and an all-new Cartoon Saturday!
