Last Monday (the 25th) we celebrated the birthday of singer Carly Simon, and so I figured one of her tunes would be appropriate for this week's edition of Musical Sunday. Although the song - "You're So Vain" - could well be about Donald Trump, who is notoriously vain and self-centered, it was actually written about three different men. The second verse, Simon revealed in a 2016 interview, is about actor Warren Beatty; however, she won't reveal the identities of the persons described in the first and third verses until after they pass away. Sorry, Donald. Here's Carly Simon's classic hit ...

I always thought the whole song was about Warren Beatty.
The musical arrangement for this song is excellent!
