Cartoon Saturday

Oy, vey ...

According to a book soon to be released by an anonymous Trump administration official, Der Furor is profiled as "cruel, inept and a danger to the nation he was elected to lead;" five people were killed and hundreds injured when a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Iran; Der Furor admitted misusing money raised by his charitable foundation and has been ordered to pay a $2 million settlement; in a highly controversial decision, the Marine Corps leadership has decided to allow all Marines to carry umbrellas in the rain; and in Japan, a single snow crab has been sold for a record price of $46,000.

This week, given the very flexible relationship between Der Furor, his Congressional enablers, and the law, I thought a few cartoons about the law would be appropriate ...

Well, this one's about as true as it gets ...

Personally, I think the ten years ought to be added ...

How the enablers of Der Furor tend to interpret the law ...

There's a third option nowadays - "I refuse to answer on the grounds that I don't think the inquiry is legitimate" ...

Yep ...

Why we really need to see the redactions ...

Ah, yes ... deflect the blame. That's a standard defense tactic for this administration ...

Good question ...

The other standard defense strategy for Der Furor's administration ...

Yes, this is how it works ...

You may as well laugh at the law ... Der Furor and his enablers do.

Have a good day and a great weekend. More thoughts tomorrow, when Poetry Sunday returns.

Back in the day I got a failing grade in USAF ROTC one semester at Indiana University for carrying an umbrella. I guess I was just ahead of my time.

A stellar collection this week! I'm still laughing at the flying somersault, half twist with a lawsuit. Hysterical!!
