Cartoon Saturday

There just aren't enough cartoons to blunt the agony of some weeks ...

Russia continued its "special military operation" in Ukraine, relentlessly pounding both military and civilian targets in an apparent attempt to cover military ineptitude with sheer violence; Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for foreign volunteers to fight alongside his army in Ukraine; North Carolina Representative Madison Cawthorne called heroic Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinskyy a "thug" and said of the government of embattled Ukraine that it is "incredibly corrupt, and it is incredibly evil and it has been pushing woke ideologies;" a New York judge rejected an attempt by Der Furor to countersue against a rape accuser’s defamation claims as being "in bad faith;" and at the San Ysidro border crossing from Mexico into California, a man was arrested when customs officials discovered 52 live reptiles (nine snakes and 43 horned lizards) in plastic bags hidden on the man's body.

This week, because the last two weeks of no-theme cartoons has gone so well, we'll do another week of random cartoons ...

It's a lot easier to be wired informant nowadays ...

My weather app looks like this all the time ...

It's funny, but now I can't unsee it ...

Prehistoric paywall ...

That is going to require some very serious magic ...

Jokes about doctors' handwriting aren't as timely any more ... now we need cartoons about doctors' poor keyboarding skills ...

Supply chain woes are causing trouble everywhere ...

Like I said ...

Look who's hanging around schoolyards in Texas, Tennessee, and Florida ...

Why, indeed? ...

And that's it for today ... I hope I've given you a slight respite from the relentless bad news of the week.

Have a good day and a great weekend. More thoughts tomorrow, when Musical Sunday returns.

With a little tweaking, I could get the bottomless coffee place to have lines around the block.

That last one nailed it!

I will never look at our "bottomless carafe" the same way again!
