Mike may have the Pun Raccoon and the Bad Joke Eel, but I've got Great Moments in Editing. Let the groaning begin ...
Well, as a method of birth control it's a little harsh, but if it works ...
Well, what did they expect? ...
When we bought our first house in 1982, our realtor gave us a bottle of wine after the settlement was done. Nowadays, with home prices, interest rates, and lender generosity being what it is, this is probably a more appropriate gift ...
Nothing ... do you hear me ... NOTHING ... must stand in the way of Second Amendment rights! ...
I'm sure it will be painful for all concerned ...
Some hard-core conservative Catholics are very concerned that Pope Francis is going much too far with the whole "love thy neighbor" thing ...
I wonder if the cuts will be horizontal or vertical, and which half they'll keep on the payroll ...
For all you statistics buffs out there ...
Some people just know how to give an engrossing demonstration ...
Perhaps because it will take at least that long for the new guidelines to get there in the mail ...
And there you have it ... your first collection of great editing moments for the new year. The hits just keep on coming, don't they?
Outside my study window a cold rain is falling, and we're looking forward to mixed rain and snow through the day, heading to a predicted low tonight of seven ... yes, seven degrees (Fahrenheit ... for those of you in the rest of the world, that would be -14 degrees Celsius) ... the coldest temperatures recorded in the area for 20 years. Who knows? - if it gets much colder, perhaps hell will freeze over and we may get a working government again. Or not. At least it's one of my safer fantasies.
Have a good day. More thoughts tomorrow.

Could the product advertised in the first one also be called urban oysters?
Thank you, I kneaded that! ;)
A can of beans as a house-warming gift. For those with a double wide, a large can.
I may go to that apathy discussion. Maybe. If they're still there.
It's almost 1:30pm here and it's gotten all the way up to -1F. And I'm glad I don't live further north than St. Louis.
