More Editorial Gems

Hard to believe it's been two weeks since the last one, isn't it? Well, it's not quite two weeks ... we're doing this edition of Great Moments in Editing a day early because I have a special post scheduled for tomorrow. Come back tomorrow for that one; for now, enjoy our latest collection of editorial gems ...

When dysfunctional families go camping ...

I wonder how they put it out ...

I appreciate a service that can deal with pests of all sorts ...

And he has competition, too ...

Sometimes, they eyewitness isn't quite as useful as you might think ...

I think I'd rather get my roughage some other way ...

My father used to call it Oil of Oy, Vey ...

I saw this ATM advertisement at the Station Square shopping center on the Pittsburgh waterfront. "Service fees" are getting out of hand ...

For that liquid lunch you've probably heard about ...

Thanks, but I think I'll go back to that place with the Ready Meals ...

And there you have it - another selection of Great Moments in Editing. Spell-check is not always your friend ... good proofreading is.

Have a good day. More thoughts tomorrow.
