Here are two great images I found online within the last week. One sums up my opinion of our elected reprehensives ...
...and the other expresses my dread of the upcoming 2012 election season, in which President Obama, in whom I am sadly disappointed, will likely run for reelection against a Republican selected from a field that includes luminaries like Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry:
You'd think that out of a population of more than 312 million, we could come up with better candidates than these.
Have a good day. More thoughts tomorrow.

Going on vacation? You ought to have started the celebrations by now! Forget about those candidates.
Great posters for the day!
Unfortunately, the selection process for politicians that we have in this country emphasize amplitude more than timbre, to use sound analogies. Oh well, I'm happy with my home state's governor and I probably won't get blown away by Irene.
Of those running, none are born to greatness; one achieved greatness but fumbled it away; and the rest wouldn't know it if it was a used bag of kitty litter hitting them in the face!
"You'd think that...."
There are better people. They just don't want to put up with the busllshit of being a candidate.
There have to be better people; there just have to be.
