A poem doesn't have to be long and involved and have perfect rhyme and meter to be interesting and thought-provoking ...

by Emily Dickinson
A Charm invests a face
Imperfectly beheld –
The Lady dare not lift her Veil
For fear it be dispelled –
But peers beyond her mesh –
And wishes – and denies –
Lest Interview – annul a want
That Image – satisfies –
Yes, Dear Readers, sometimes ... even most of the time ... what we imagine is better than what we see.
Have a good day. More thoughts coming.

That's a very thought-provoking poem.
Emily Dickinson is very subtle in this poem.
This is very true...Its always best to leave something to the imagination
Imagination beats real life almost every time.
Give them scope for imagination.
