Cartoon Saturday

I don't have much faith that April will be significantly better than March, but there's always hope ...

Setting new lows in both class and civic responsibility, Der Furor called on Russian president Putin to release any available dirt on President Biden and his family; more than 161,000 jars of Skippy peanut butter have been recalled because of possible contamination with steel fragments; Maria Butina, a politician from the United Russia Party of Vladimir Putin, said in an interview that the military campaign in Ukraine is going “absolutely” according to plan, but added that the plan hadn't been shared with members of the legislature; 193 Republican members of the House of Representatives voted against a bill that would cap the cost of insulin - a drug vital to the survival of millions of Americans which costs ten times more in the United States than in any other developed company; and - proving that money can, indeed, buy happiness - Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ, is now offering an 18-month, $17,700 masters degree program in "Happiness Studies."

Let's lead off the new month with a collection of random cartoons ...

This was my usual experience back when I was in the dating pool ...

Some things never change, do they? ...

Or not ...

Back then, they had "rings" instead of "tweets" ...

I've always found that to be the case ...

The tools of the modern witch ...

A decision more people should make nowadays ...

My favorite celebrity magazine ...

I don't think anyone would ...

This is the favorite mental spa of those being looked at by former associates of Der Furor now under the January 6th commission's eye ...

And there you have it - the first collection of cartoons for the month we pray will be better than the last 27 ... I hope it gave you a chuckle.

Have a good day and a great weekend. More thoughts coming tomorrow, when Poetry Sunday comes to the new month.

Thanks, Bilbo. I got much more than a chuckle! Especially like life being better when not stupid all the time.
