Brains for Sale

Just when you thought the world couldn't get any weirder comes this news flash from Indianapolis, Indiana - Man Tries to Sell Stolen Brains on eBay, Police Say.

It appears that the alleged perpetrator, one David Charles, stole more than 60 jars of brains and other human tissues from a storage area at the Indiana Medical History Museum and attempted to sell them on e-Bay* ... where he actually found buyers. As far as I can tell from reading the press reports, none of the prospective buyers were members of Congress or the Tea Party, whom one might have suspected of desiring actually to own a brain, however acquired.

I really couldn't make this stuff up.

Have a good day and - if you are in the area of our latest winter storm - stay warm. The current temperature outside my study window right now is 22 degrees (Fahrenheit) with a wind chill of eight - yes, eight - big degrees. Oh, mama, bring in the brass monkey ...

I surely do hope the bus is running on time ...

See you tomorrow for Cartoon Saturday.

When I read this story I thought someone might have discovered the storage site for congressional brains for the time they are in office.
