Oy, how we need Cartoon Saturday!
I always enjoy sets of cartoons that take off on similar themes. Today, we have two pairs of cartoons riffing on the same topic. First, a look at how labor protests might be carried out by nudists...
and by sign painters...
We all know about crash test dummies (no, Andrea, not the folk-rock group). Here are two cartoons that take a look at their off-duty time...
and...
You've all seen the colorful plastic bracelets that people wear to send their personal messages, usually something like "WWJD" (for "what would Jesus do?"). One of my co-workers found this one on the Internet the other day...
If this cartoon doesn't make sense to you, check out some Escher art here. And finally, from the department of just plain silly...
Do you suppose she bought it at Victor's Secret, ha, ha?It looks like it will be a nice weekend (weather-wise) here in northern Virginia - maybe I can get started on cleaning all the winter wreckage out of the yard and see what the deer have left me to work with. I hope all of you have a good and relaxing weekend. If you're a first-time visitor here, please come back.
Have a good day. More thoughts tomorrow.

Today's been like being back at work. Come on Monday.
The Sign painters strike is hysterical. In your list of real world events, you might have added the undersea volcano in Tongo; it's not often one sees smoke coming from the ocean itself! Cartoon Saturday is most welcome; thanks for providing it.
that last cartoon totally made me LOL. fortunately, my bf and i both love sports and love watching together so i would never have to resort to such extreme measures :)
